Jim Owens

Jim is a graduate of the University of Nevada School of
Mines with extensive experience in underground safety,
hazardous material, quality assurance, nuclear testing, and
very high level tech reviews of plant operations. He was
responsible for the planning, design, contracting and
construction of many facilities relating to mining
operations including deep well shafts in extremely difficult
conditions. His expertise includes water infiltration and
abatement in underground sites. He retired from DOE where he
was involved with design reviews and progress tracking for
the Yucca Mountain Underground Repository.
Ken Horak
Ken is an architect with experience in quality commercial
and residential projects. He possess the the unusual skills
of being a builder, general contractor, and developer, as
well as an architect. As an Associate with the Klein
Partnership in Houston, he oversaw design of several
hospitals and medical facilities. As Vice President of
Kaufman and Meeks, he designed and oversaw development of
residential projects in 43 states. As an independent
contractor/developer, he designed and built custom homes,
multi-family residential developments, shopping centers and
office buildings. Ken's extensive knowledge of practical
applications to architectural issues in design and
construction has been invaluable to our clients.
Martin Van Dyke
Marty provides professional support on the technical aspects
of cranes, fork-lifts, drill rigs, and compressor accidents.
He is the staff mechanical engineer at Los Alamos National
Laboratory responsible for design and operations of large
capacity mobile cranes with high value loads. He developed
and implemented a structural material fracture safety
program for all critical cranes used for nuclear safety. We
are presently working with Marty on litigation involving
crane accidents in large construction projects.
Bob
Mondey
Bob is a forensic expert in all phases of electrical
construction. Having extensive experienced as an
electrician, he has broadened his skills to include
architectural, drywall, tile, stucco, painting, plumbing and
finish trades. Bob has specialized in construction defects
for the past several years, and provides technical support,
computer skills and forensic investigations to this area of
our business..
Larry Aaron, CCE
Larry Aaron, T&M Concepts' President, is a Certified
Cost Engineer (CCE) and has spent his entire 30-year career
working in the field of project controls and computer
systems. He has implemented a multitude of time- and
money-saving solutions for owners, government agencies,
construction contractors, and A/E firms.
Among these solutions were
developing project control procedures, implementing change
order and cost control systems, developing historical
feedback and estimating data curves, developing construction
timesheet coding and cost accounting systems, automated data
transferand sharing systems, and much more.
Larry teaches classes on
planning & scheduling, estimating, the project controls
process, and various computer applications through out his
entire career. He teaches classes throughout the US for RS
Means and is an instructor in the Building Technology
Program at the Community College of Southern Nevada. He has
a BS in Civil Engineering and an MSE in Construction
Management, both from the University of Michigan. Larry and
Paul have worked together on estimating, scheduling, and
construction defect litigation.
